Ixcatan

This is a tiny place north of Guadalajara on the GDL-Saltillo road.  I've wanted to drive up here for a while (there's also supposed to be a geyser here but I'm quite sure it's actually a perpetual spouter) so when I read that this was one of the places where they do the Dance of the Tastoanes, we decided to go.  It's a lovely drive along the barranca and the town feels a little like it's been dropped into a forest.

Their masks weren't like Nextipac at all but were still a different style from Ocotan.  We watched the Tastoanes and Santiago fighting with each other.
