The Catrinas of Guadalajara

We went to see the catrinas near the Cathedral again this year.  I don't know what last year's theme was, but this year's was equality and justice which is why a lot of them featured indigenous people or designs. The one with the veil is Malala Yousafzai.

I highly recommend seeing these if you're in Guadalajara around the Day of the Dead.  You can go early before the traffic gets bad.  As long as it's light outside, there is no bad time to stop by. They can get a little tired after a few days, especially if it rains, although it's not too likely to rain in November.
