Cuicuilco

This pyramid is in the south part of Mexico City very close to UNAM with its cool library and the Olympic Stadium.  It a very urban area, but there's a nice park surrounding the pyramid and it was a pleasant place to be.

I didn't think this site was quite as interesting as some of the others we've seen, although I still liked it.  They let you walk around on one of the lower levels of the circular pyramid which they don't allow at Guachimontones or Xochitecatl.  You need to access it from Insurgentes and you have to be going north on that road.

They haven't been able to do very much work on this site because it was destroyed by a lava flow and it's covered with a couple of meters of volcanic rock.
