My beloved little bazaar where I've shopped nearly every day since moving to Bishkek is gone. They've cleared everyone out and are doing some sort of major renovation in there. But the vegetable man I buy from had what I needed outside the building, so we can still eat dinner tonight.
I wish I'd gotten a photo of the place. I kept putting it off. And I hope they put something good in there afterward. Like vegetables.
I loved that bazaar because I could get nearly everything there that I needed. Dairy products and sliced bread were about all the was missing (besides obvious weird things like peanut butter and bulgur).
