Spinning Again
I hauled my spindle, lots of wool, and my backstrap loom all the way here and, after a year of sitting in closets, I finally pulled it out. Wouldn't want to have something I brought all the way here never get used. I'm still deciding what I'll do, but I need to create something. Writing alone isn't doing enough for me.

Weaving is something I wanted to try for a long time but I don't know anything about it, though I often look through books about weaving at the library. I admire the strip weaves of West Africa. The strip idea makes weaving seem more "approachable". Still I haven't done anything about it. It sounds like actually also do the spinning of the wool first. Amazing!
