

This was a nice collection of essays by Elizabeth David. Most of the recipes weren't really my style, especially while I'm living in Kyrgyzstan, but it still was a pleasant read. And, as often seems to happen when you learn something new, the oven temperatures of the recipes were listed in gas marks too. And I thought I'd never hear about them.
