We're not hoping anymore :(

At least it's cooler in Seattle than it is in Bishkek. And warmer in the winter than in Bishkek. Walking on ice isn't all that fun.

  1. I'm sorry, Amira. I do hope something can work out in Seattle. (On the upside; you're easier to visit there in Seattle than you would be in Bishkek.)

  2. Well, then you'll have to come to Seattle sometime soon.

Unfortunately, the people I most want to visit are in Lebanon and Singapore. Bishkek would be better for both of those.

  3. And we're happy here in Seattle for the next year. We have an excellent grant, a good place to live, the boys have great friends, and we finally got everyone outfitted with bikes and helmets and trailers.

  4. I am sorry Bishkek didn't work out, but I am glad you will be closer so we will be able to see you sooner!

    Love you =)

  5. I'm sorry to hear that Amira. Darn! I was so looking forward to more posts from far away places. I live (and travel) vicariously through you, you know!
