Yes, it is very much like a farmer's market. I should have gotten a picture of the meat section though. You don't see that in the US.

I will be brave. I usually avoid the meat stalls though, after being in the Middle East. Whole skinned sheep hanging in rows (and the resultant smells) just aren't my thing. It doesn't seem to be quite as obvious here though- most of the meat is already butchered.
