We were in Rexburg on Saturday. I was surprised how beautiful the drive through the southern part of the state was. We are scheduling a trip for a week next spring and hope to see more of the Yellowstone area.
SE Idaho really is nice. The whole state is nice, really, except for the southwest. Too bad that's where the freeway goes so many people just see that part of the state.
Yellowstone doesn't open till late April, so don't plan your trip before that. You wouldn't want to miss any geysers. :)
