From Scratch

There have been several conversations about homemade food, or cooking from scratch. This is pretty much all we do. We've only had one car the entire time we've been married, so if we didn't have it, I had to figure out how to make it, since I couldn't ever get to the store. It's cheaper and healthier anyway. And, if you make a lot of something at a time, it's not very time-consuming.

So, here are some of my recipes. My favorite "basic" cookbook is one I've mentioned before, Boarding the Ark Today. I've also collected and made up others along the way. I have a few posted below, and I'll be adding more soon. And as always, check the recipes link on the sidebar.

Amira, I almost said in my other comment about the way we touch others' lives that if I ever manage to get the whole food storage/cooking healthy really in hand, it will be in no small part from the time and effort you have taken here, not only sharing your recipes, but all the other helpful advice on what to store, etc. So, thanks!! Very much.
